The previous generation of FOX Racing Shox's 32 Float 29 120 3Pos-Adj FIT4 Fork has been proven under the demanding engine of a certain five-time World Champion, who we'll just refer to as Mr. Absalon. This success means our excitement at the news of a complete overhaul was tempered with a little unease. We weren't sure that such a winning formula could be improved on, but by adopting the lower weight, higher stiffness, and mechanical redesign of last year's 36 Float, the new 32 Float fork manages to shame its well-decorated predecessor. While this change may read like an exercise in semantics, it actually entails a radical realignment of the 32 Float's capabilities. The 32 Float's nearly five inches of travel push 29ers into the plush suspension game, and the new Open setting has been expanded to encompass the range once divided between Descend and Trail. The damper's 22 adjustable sub settings are now distributed across the more inclusive Open setting instead of the limited Trail. This lets you keep the front end plus...
