WILLIAM J. BLYTHE, JR. Blythe signed this note in blue ink on a letter from J. L Pruett, a teacher for the mentally retarded. Pruett has asked in 1972 for Blythe's autograph so that he could use it as a teaching aid. Autograph note double signed "William J Blythe Jr." and "WJB", both in blue ink. With notations on verso in red and black ink. 1 page, 8¼x10¾. In full: "Please advise if I can be of further assistance." This note was written on a letter from J. L. Pruett in Clute, Texas, a teacher for the mentally retarded. Pruett wrote this letter on July 3, 1972 for Blythe's signature so that he could use it as a teaching aid in government and current events classes. Blythe was a member of the Texas State House of Representatives from 1971 to 1983. Lightly toned and creased. Folded twice and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
