How to sprout the best wheat grass for juicing Rinse the seeds thoroughly in cold water. Put the seeds in a bucket (We prefer plastic shoe boxes) overnight Rinse the seeds again and layer the seeds between white paper towels free of dioxins Let them sprout for 12 hours. Prepare either plastic trays or plastic nursery trays Prepare a soil mixture of 1 part organic potting mix to 1 part organic peat moss Place soil mix in tray about 1/2 inch Remove the seeds from the paper towels and rinse again Sprinkle sprouts on top of soil mix then cover with 1/4 inch soil mix.
