Luminescent crystals inside the 2-1/2-Inch hand-blown blue/green swirl glass globe absorb light energy during the day and release it after dusk in the form of a soft green glow. Glow duration may last up to 3 - 4 hours, gradually fading over that time. The armillary finial and steel stake have an electroplated antique copper finish applied to withstand the elements and prevent premature rusting.
