The FOX FIT 32 Float is a standby for all mountain riding, and while it has been a staple for some time, FOX Racing has morphed it into the 32 Float 29 120 CTD FIT Fork with an improved CTD adjustment, and lower friction for added control. Adjustments to the Float are made with Fox's Climb, Trail, and Descend damper adjustments. Improved for this year, the Trail has seven sub-settings, versus the previous three. This gives you greater control when your fork is moving at a slower compression speed. Climb still features a near lockout for optimal power transfer and Descend of course provides the most compression. Fox Isolated Technology, or FIT, is the damper that FOX uses on its Float fork. What this means is that the damper fluid is completely contained meaning it is never exposed to grit or grime, which impede smooth movement. To reduce the friction on the stanchions, FOX employs its Kashima coating, a hard coating that creates a very smooth surface for the suspension action of the fork. This coating is harder than most stanchion coatings, which means less wear and tear.
