The Minister came under fire in question time after outlining the government's new Living Longer, Living Better aged care reform package at the Cultural Diversity in Ageing conference in Melbourne last month.

A community case manager of 37 clients asked the Minister how he was going to retain her with a cumbersome workload earning only the minimum wage.
