Books 1-10, Issues #1 (11/9/67) thru #141 (8/16/73), original FULL SET of bound issues of Rolling Stone magazine, volumes 1-10! These historical books were bound by the Cardoza-James Bindery in San Francisco. The bound issues of Rolling Stone are original, actual unsold copies of the magazine (not reprints). Each volume covers all of rock's greatest names and stories, feature in depth interviews, and include expert written articles by music's top journalists...and of course each volume includes hundreds of album reviews - Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, Pink Floyd...they're all here, including many more! All of these extremely rare titles are in tact with no ripped or missing pages! The covers, with some of the typical wear and bumped edges, range from Very Good to Excellent. Book 1 has small writing inside bearing the name of the past owner and separation at the top half inch of the exterior spine. All of the pages in every book are in superb condition, with just the usual foxing that occurs over such a long period of time. These volumes are tall books that feature the long form of the magazine, whereas subsequent issues after Book 10 are the shorter length format. These are becoming harder to find, especially the earliest copies such as these. A very limited number were bound and sold. This instant collection is an ultra rare find and will be the prized centerpiece of any music or pop culture fan. Incredible timestamps of a lost era - the ads alone are worth the price of admission!
